IMPORTANT:  The English language is taught is all schools and it is our second national language. Each Filipina Lady can read and write English, but the problem is they are 'shy' to speak it because they do not yet have the confidence and because so many foreigners like to use "Slang" English instead of "Proper" English.  I had a problem of talking to Delaney in the beginning because of this. I had to ask him what was the meaning of his words...  so you just be careful of this an speak correct English ( not Slang ) because it is so easy to not understand what you are trying to communicate to your Filipina Lady.  After a short amount of time you can easily understand each other like I did with my Husband, Delaney.
